Broadcasting

Broadcasting is the act of disseminating audio and visual content to an audience and producing a broadcast for the public. You get to watch exciting events unfold and ask the questions the whole world wants to know! Jobs in broadcasting run the gamut and include announcer, sportscaster, commentator, news director, music director, program producer, reporter, production assistant and more. The cameras are rolling and looking for the next broadcast star so step up to that microphone.

A broadcasting program includes writing courses, audio production, sound design, broadcast technology, and media law and policy. Broadcasting students will receive ample opportunity during their program to prepare and amass quality pieces for a professional portfolio.
