Patient Care Technician

Patient care technicians are known in the medical world by the acronym PCT or hospital attendants and they play an important role in the health care system. They assist patients in basic daily functions such as eating, getting out of bed, bathing, exercise, grooming, etc. As they spend a great deal of time with the patient one-on-one, they develop fulfilling relationships and make the patients life more enjoyable during their stay at the hospital.
