The financial outlook for this field is good once you have a little experience. Depending on where you work and what you do in the field you can expect $30k for an entry-level position and six-figure earnings once you have experience and notoriety. Interior design is more than just looking at a house and deciding where the couch should be. You need to learn the software and tools that are used in the field. Instead of attending a class to listen to a lecture, your instructor will provide lecture notes in a text, video or audio format, or just assign reading from a textbook.
