Equal Opportunity Representatives and Officers
Equal Opportunity Representatives and officers, often known as Equal Employment Opportunity Officers (EEO Officers), ensure that anyone regardless of race, religion, sex, age, or disabilities have equal opportunities to secure employment.
EEO officers perform a variety of functions. They conduct studies and compile statistical reports on equal employment that help determine equal employment standards. They investigate claims that Equal Employment Opportunity regulations are being violated, and act as both investigators and mediators. They also investigate corporate practices to determine if they are compliant with EEO standards.
A position as an Equal Opportunity Representative Officer most often requires a bachelor’s degree. Be sure to check out the degrees being offered in many locations.
