You should also take courses, such as marketing, accounting, business ethics and management strategies, as these will be highly beneficial to your career. Depending on the company you plan to work for, you may receive all of the necessary training through them. Many offer programs that last between a week and one year, which will get you ready to enter the work force as a retail manager.
