Handgun accuracy is extremely important when becoming a Federal Air Marshal. You will be expected to ride on a plane and blend in with passengers. When you are on a plane, it is your job as a Federal Air Marshal to recognize suspicious activity that could be linked to terrorists. Federal Air Marshals are extremely important during holidays and very busy times of travel, as well as on the anniversaries of prior terrorist attacks, such as 9/11.

Training and Education
