Engineering Managers

An Engineering Manager are responsible for supervising employees who design products and machinery. They also oversee the development of these designs and oversee the testing and quality assurance of these products.

Some supervise research and design teams, while others are plant engineers overseeing the all aspects of the machinery in an industrial plant. Most will work in offices, but some work in laboratories and on-site at industrial plants.

Engineering Managers require a bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty. Many also obtain a degree in business or a related field. Look at the degrees being offered in many locations.
