Financial Specialists are in charge of managing and controlling finances and financial records for various organizations and institutions.
Some specialists prepare reports and products for those involved in lending, and borrowing. These products and reports are usually created through mathematical models the specialist uses to evaluate the institution.
Other financial specialists are used for risk management, identifying potential risks for an organization and risks in potential investments. Some financial specialists specialize in private equity investments, while others specialize in mergers and acquisitions.
Some financial specialists used by the government and regulatory bodies investigate allegations of fraud by obtaining evidence, taking statements, producing reports based on their analysis of a suspected company, and testify in court. These specialists also work in fraud detection and prevention.
