This type of logistician job does not deal with the receiving end of the shipping companies, but they work more with the distribution and shipping aspects. In addition, this logistician job also deals directly with the customers, keeping them informed of where their product is and when it is going to be delivered to them. This can also be performed by emailing the customer with any tracking numbers that the shipping company provides for the product, allowing the customer to check the status of their order online instead of constantly calling the logistician. With this type of logistician job, you can expect a competitive starting salary close to $40,000 per year.

Retail

Logistician jobs in the retail market generally work in corporate offices and deal with the shipments of products to the retail stores. Retail stores generally do more sales than online stores, therefore, the logistician jobs in the retail market are top careers for any logistician to obtain since it is an always growing field to work in. Logistician jobs in the retail market generally pay a starting salary of around $37,000 with a maximum salary $90,000 plus any kind of benefits package the employer offers.
