You might be required to use sophisticated radio equipment, analyze aerial photographs, or use radar equipment. You may also be required to create forecasting for expected criminal or terror activity just as someone would in the business world for their expected growth. These positions are extremely important.

The types of intelligence analyst jobs are as equally diverse as the actual job responsibilities. If you work for the army, you may create reports which are used to influence the strategic direction of future moves of various divisions. Your report will influence the lives and safety of people. You may also analyze the underlying meaning of why the enemy is moving in a particular manner to forecast offensive or defensive operations.
If you work for the CIA, you might work in various divisions to gather information on terrorists, narcotics, gangs, or organized crime. You will become an expert in that particular area, then begin analyzing and gathering pertinent data. These positions are also instrumental in saving lives. The private sector is beginning to use an intelligence analyst to predict the behavior of their competitors to remain a leader in today’s competitive marketplace. Some people will also work for companies with department of defense contracts. These top careers are plentiful.
