An Electrical and Electronics Repairer specializing in commercial and industrial equipment is responsible for the testing, maintenance, installation, and adjustment of electronic equipment that is used in various industries as well as equipment such as transmitters and antennae.

These repairers are responsible for performing a number of tests and maintenance on equipment. They are expected to be able to set up the tests, run them, and be able to diagnose and repair any problems the diagnoses may yield. The ability to read and understand blueprints is essential for the installation of equipment, as well as in diagnosing problems with equipment.

A position as an Electrical and Electronics Repairer for commercial and industrial equipment often requires completing a certification course from a vocational school. An associates degree in electronics is also preferred. Be sure to check out the programs being offered in many locations.
