Network Engineer
The world is becoming more and more connected, and those connections run along computer networks that are designed by network engineers. As a network engineer your job is to create computer networks, handle their testing to ensure that they work properly, and evaluate them to fix any problems within the network. These can include creating a local area network, most often known as a LAN, or a wide area network, most often known as a WAN. A network engineer, or network administrator, is also responsible for managing an organizations internet, intranets, and any other data communication that they use. The networks may vary by the size of the office, or may be designed to include more than one office spread throughout many locations. Network engineers work with both hardware and software. They often modify software to suit the needs of the particular network, or sometimes write their own software. They are often responsible for making hardware suggestions for their employer when it concerns servers, routers, and other essential pieces of hardware.
