Anthroplogy | All Certificates

Students who love to travel and learn about different cultures and people can make their passion their career with an anthropology program. Anthropology is the study of human beings and their behavior, social relationships, and societal structures. Anthropologists are considered social scientists and spend much of their time in research, social experimentation, writing, analysis of other anthropological studies, and publishing their own work.

There are several subsets of the field of anthropology including archeology, sociocultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology, and biophysical anthropology. In order to study different cultures and peoples, anthropologists frequently have the opportunity to travel to exotic places and live amongst the indigenous peoples.

In many locations students can study whatever interests them from tribal music traditions in Africa to the origins of witchcraft in Haiti. Students with many Certificates in anthropology often pursue interesting, exciting, and different careers.
