Biomedical Informatics | All Bachelor's Degrees

Biomedical informatics. It is a complicated name with a slightly less complicated description: the gathering of biomedical information and then using that information to improve patient care, the medical field, and health science research. It is an interdisciplinary area of study meaning that it involves different fields like computer science, biology, and health care.

In many locations biomedical informatics courses will teach students everything they need to know about biomedical statistics, biochemistry, epidemiology, medical decision making, database mining, and medical computing.

People with many Bachelor’s Degrees in biomedical informatics have endless possibilities for employment in research, programming, designing projects, and government agencies.

Students who like variety in their work and have a desire to use their scientific talents to improve the lives of others will love a biomedical informatics program.
