Chiropractors diagnose and treat health problems associated with the muscular, nervous, and skeletal systems ranging from back and neck pain to rehabilitative care after an injury or surgery. Central to all chiropractic treatment is the aligning of vertebral column, when the spine isn’t in balance, nothing is in balance!

Chiropractors treat imbalance through simple manual adjustments to the body without the use of any drugs or surgery. In many locations chiropractor programs teach students the basics of the practice as well as other methods of alternative healing including light therapy, massage, acupuncture, and the application of braces and supports to the spine.

Individuals with many Other Education from a chiropractor program often pursue a career as a self-employed professional. Fifty-two percent of all chiropractors are self-employed; having either opened their own private practice or bought one from a retiring chiropractor.

The demand for chiropractors is expected to increase by 14 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, due to consumer interest in alternative health care solutions. So crack those books open and get into some chiropractic courses today!
