Computer Animation and Design | All Associate's Degrees

Computer animation and design is behind the impressive images seen in movies, cartoons, television, and websites. This area of study fuses creativity and technology, to create amazing works of art. Computer animation and design involves working with software programs like CAD (computer aided design) software to construct objects and design visual elements.

In many locations computer animation and design programs teach students all about 3-D modeling, drawing, character design, and 2-D and 3-D animation. Students learn all about art, design, math, engineering, and technology so they can be a successful computer animator and designer.

Individuals with many Associate’s Degrees in computer animation and design are responsible for creating many of the simple household items we use on a day to day basis like a chair or a stapler.
