Customer support, or tech support, is essentially a service-oriented career in providing assistance to individuals and companies with technology products. Whether it is backing up a hard drive on a computer or managing multiple computer servers within an office, customer support is all about bringing technology to the common man.

In many locations customer support programs teach students the fundamentals of hardware, software, networking, troubleshooting, and computer security.

With many Bachelor’s Degrees in customer support students can go on to rewarding careers where they help people on a daily basis.
