Forensic science is the branch of criminal justice that deals with crime scene investigation. In many locations forensic science programs train students to take fingerprints, collect data, analyze evidence, write criminal reports, and interview witnesses.

People with many Associate’s Degrees in forensic science may lead to a career as a crime lab analyst or criminalist and many forensic scientists work for the FBI.
