Respiratory Care & Therapy | All Doctorate Degrees

Respiratory therapists assess respiratory disorders, conduct diagnostic tests, develop a treatment plan and assist patients in strengthening their respiratory systems. They work with patients in diverse circumstances ranging from newborn infants whose lungs are still undeveloped and adults with asthma or emphysema issues.

Most respiratory therapists work in hospitals, though some work in private practice or travel to patients’ homes. Those interested should look into the All Doctorate Degrees being offered in many locations.

Respiratory care and therapy courses will teach you the basics of anatomy, physiology, diagnostic testing, cardiac rehabilitation and disease prevention.
