Of these resources smart phones is the one that has increased greatly in the past couple of years. The reason for this is because of the great convenience that they provide. The following list is ten ways that you can use smart phones to increase your online educational experience.
1. Study Applications- Many of the smart phones are equipped for downloading applications of a wide variety. Many of these applications are educational and can help you with your field of study. For example, there are many medical applications to help you study for the NCLEX, learn vocabulary, and look up information about drugs. There are many educational applications that can provide you with an alternative way to study.
2. Access course material- With smart phones, one of the biggest advantages that they offer for online universities is the ability to access course material. With this feature you can access your email, coursework, and assignments from virtually anywhere. However, before you make a purchase be sure that the Smartphone that you select has the appropriate abilities for your particular course. Not all phones can access course websites so be sure to research this before you purchase one.
3. Use the internet- As stated previously the ability of these phones to quickly access the internet is their biggest advantage. With this feature you can look up things related to your school work from any location. This can help you to complete your assignments, understand difficult concepts, and much more.
4. Calendar Settings- Smart phones offer a great deal of colander setting that can help you to keep track of all of your assignments and due dates. With these phones you can color code your calendar so that you can easily see what it coming up in the following week. Also, you can set reminders to come up a week, a day, an hour, or anytime you want before the assignment is due.

10. EBooks- because of their ability to use the internet, many smart phones are now capable of having eBooks downloaded to them. Many college textbooks are available as an eBook as well. This will allow you to carry a copy of your book with you at all times.
