Careers as Bindery Workers

People who are good at repairing, managing time, and maintaining equipment may be perfect candidates for becoming bindery workers.

These professionals are responsible for binding books and other printed publications by using binding machines. Some duties include filling work orders, examining collated, bound or unbound and stitched samples, using machines, moving controls, installing parts, maintaining records, and managing paper feeds and maintaining equipment.

To do well as a bindery worker requires a knowledge of processing, production, and mechanics.
