Homeland Security | On-Campus Bachelor's Degrees

The Homeland Security Department of the government was created in 2003 by President George W. Bush in light of the September 11 attacks. Students who enroll in on-campus Bachelor’s Degrees are preparing to protect the nation.

The Homeland Security Department’s biggest task is the prevention of terrorist attacks on US soil. Other objectives include national emergency preparedness for terrorism and natural disasters, intelligence activities, border security, detection of radioactive and radiological material and researching better security technologies.

There are many different departments and positions available within the Homeland Security Department including cybersecurity, immigration officers and border control.
