Interior Designers commonly design kitchens, bathrooms, rooms designed for people with specific physical needs or limitaions, or a variety of other specific criteria based on how a room will be used.

Interior design is a challenging service profession because the designer must please and meet the needs of the client while taking the natural limitations of a building or room into account.
