Survivor Producer a Suspect in Wife’s Murder in Mexico

Bruce Beresford-Redman, former producer of the reality TV show Survivor, is suspected in the murder investigation of his wife, who was reported missing on Tuesday in Cancun, Mexico.
On Thursday, Monica Beresford-Redman’s body was found in the sewer of the Moon Palace resort where their family was vacationing. According to a coroner’s report, the cause of death was a blow to the head.
Bruce was temporarily detained as a suspect. While he is not authorized to speak to the media at this time, he reported to the police that Monica left the hotel Monday but did not return.
With friends reporting that Bruce Beresford-Redman had recently had an affair, rumors of marital problems, and a police statement laden with contractions, Bruce Beresdord-Redman has found himself in the middle of a real-life reality show.
Investigations will continue in Mexico to determine the murderer of Monica Beresford-Redman.
