These managers are responsible for ensuring the establishment is operating in accordance with health codes. They balance cash receipts for the establishment at the end of a shift. They also are often responsible for hiring, training, and firing food preparation and serving workers.

Managers need reliable customer service skills, as many customer complaints are asked to be resolved by a manager.
