Bailiffs help keep order in court rooms. They enforce courtroom rules collect and store firearms, guard sequestered juries, escort juries, ensure courtroom security, announce the entrance of the judge and more.
To do well as a bailiff, you will need to be a good listener, speaker, critical thinker and reasoner. Through training and work-related experience, you will gain a working knowledge of public safety, law, government, management and customer service.
