Budget analysts prepare reports, analyze statements, advise on cost, fiscal allocation and budgeting, find financial trends, put together accounting records, establish budget-related policies and work with managers to make sure the budget is working and effective.
To make it big as a budget analyst, you will need a bachelor’s degree. A program will give you a working knowledge of economics, accounting, math, computers, electronics, customer service, law government, human resources, management and clerical skills.
Job opportunities for budget analysts are expected to increase quickly. The average hourly wage for people with this job is about $31 and the average annual income is about $65,000.
