People with this job spend their time driving fire trucks, preventing fires, putting out fires, rescuing people from burning buildings, and so much more. Because a firefighter’s main objective is to protect communities and individuals, this career is very rewarding.

In many locations fire science courses will teach students about fire combustion, hazardous materials, fire prevention, and extinguishing techniques.
