Welding | All Degrees
Welders fuse together giant sheets of metal and tiny metal closures using sheer heat and force. There are several different methods of welding including gas-metal arc welding, gas-tungsten arc welding, shielding-metal arc welding, oxyfuel gas welding, plasma cutting, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding, just to name a few.
Typical job activities of welders include the installation and repair of metal materials whether it be a bridge, a locker, a fence, a gate, furniture or even piping. People everywhere depend on the work of welders and don’t even realize it.
In many locations welding classes may include welding principles, welding inspection, blueprint reading, and quality control. Welding courses will teach students all the essentials from quality control to construction issues to the latest welding techniques.
