The International Academy of Design and Technology’s Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program in Graphic Design is designed to equip graduates with advanced abilities in graphic design which will help them stay current with the emerging and evolving technology and trends in the industry.
This Graphic Design program, based out of the Tampa campus, is formulated with the purpose of preparing graduates with a current and applicable comprehension of the roles and responsibilities of today’s graphic designers in the modern workplace, including:
- Building a professional portfolio, creating hands-on projects, and constructing a resume.
- Mastering career and industry-relevant skills in advertising, layout, type, color, and illustration.
- Familiarizing themselves with industry-current technology including digital illustration and imaging, web and multimedia.
Through this graphic design program, students investigate the graphic design field’s professional principles and practices, including aspects of page layout, digital graphics development, editorial design, branding and identity development, environmental graphics, packaging, prepress, interactive media design, design history, and theory.
Students receive challenging projects in the Graphic Design program, including the research and application of problem-solving methods within the visual organization and layout of information and graphics, common business practices, art direction, and advertising and marketing strategies.
