The Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) offers a Completion of the Radiation Health and Safety examination which is recognized or required in more than 30 states. Depending on the state in which you work, an additional State-approved course in radiology may be required. Certification recognizes the assistant’s professional capability and qualifications and can be a valuable asset when seeking employment.
