We scoured the internet and found a collection of the 12 of the best April Fools’ Day college pranks from real college students.

1. Set the 4:00 am wake up alarm in the victim’s alarm clock and hide it in the corner of the closet and remember to sleep in your room.
2. Glue your roommate’s furniture to the ceiling.
3. Fill your roommate’s car with packing peanuts.
4. Cover your roommate’s door with saran wrap after they go to sleep.
5. Change your roommate’s digital clock back four hours and set their alarm. Instead of waking up at 6am, they’ll be waking up and getting ready at 2am for work/school. (To get the full effect of the prank, make sure you’re awake to see them scrambling out the door. That way you can stop them from leaving.)
6. Put really strong glue outside the door so when they walk out they’ll be stuck to the ground.
7. Distribute cheap battery-powered alarm clocks throughout the library or study hall close to the most used study tables. Set the alarm clocks to go off at 8:00pm, 8:05pm, 8:20pm, 8:25pm, and 8:45pm. Watch the exasperation of the students studying as they turn off the alarm clocks and eventually leave.
8. Shape some fudge into a real-looking dog turd, put it in a shoebox, put it in front of someone’s door, knock, and take off. As the person is looking in the shoe box, discovering the turd and expressing their revulsion, stroll back casually, ask to see it, then take a big bite.
9. Wrap your college professor’s car in string.
10. Pour a bowl of cereal and milk, freeze it overnight, then in the morning, add more cereal and milk, then serve it to your roommate.
11. Fill the hallway in your dorm (or the guy’s dorm) with countless Dixie cups filled with water. They’ll have to tip toe around them or try and jump over them, and water will spill everywhere. (For a clever variation on the cup prank, see the photo at right. Your roommate won’t be able to get out of bed without spilling juice everywhere.)
12. At the University of King’s College in Halifax, Canada, any students in the Quad at midnight on April 1st will be drenched with squirt guns and water balloons. It’s a bonafide campus water fight in the dead of the night.
