Interior Design

In an interior design program, you learn how to combine aesthetic, safety, and function of interior spaces, making them comfortable and functional places to be.

Take your natural “designer’s eye” and hone your skills with interior design classes that will teach you how to most beautifully combine fabrics, flooring, furniture and art in homes and businesses.

Interior Design courses will teach you interior design history, materials and textiles theory, space planning, lighting styles and more. Interior Design is a service profession because the designer must please and meet the needs of the client. Nearly 26 percent of interior designers are self-employed. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the employment of interior designers is expected to grow in the coming years, with the interior designers earning an average of $44,950 in 2008.
