Located in central Virginia, Liberty University is the world’s largest Christian University, with more than 140 undergraduate and graduate programs. It was founded in 1971 and it works to educate students in values, knowledge and the skills they need to be successful in the work force.
Programs include accounting, criminal justice, religion, nursing, psychology, teaching and counseling, just to name a few. Liberty University awards associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
Liberty University boasts several benefits that no other university can. First, the environment on this campus is a unique blend of academics and religion. Students agree to live by specific standards and do not use drugs, alcohol or tobacco and do not live in coed residence halls. They also agree to dress modestly, have a curfew and respect authority.
The curriculum is designed to help students learn in a hands-on way, and many students do internships. Liberty University is accredited by the Commission of Colleges of the Southern Associate of Colleges and Schools.
