Then you can look back on all your TV time and consider it “career exploration.” Forensic science is the branch of criminal justice dealing with crime scene investigation including tasks such as fingerprinting, data collection, evidence analysis, writing criminal reports or interviewing witnesses. Common job titles in forensic science include crime lab analysts or criminalists and many forensic scientists work for the FBI. Salaries range according to experience level with entry-level jobs staring at $30,000 and more advanced positions around $70,000. Take a bite out of crime with some forensic science courses today!
