Human Services

Human Services programs teach you how to help people in anger management, stress management, marriage and family therapy, addiction and more.

If you have a desire to help others, human services is the field for you.

In a child studies program, you will study the cognitive, social and emotional development of children. If you are interested in helping people with anger management, stress management, the effects of divorce, addiction or with vocational development, you are probably a good candidate for a counseling, marriage and family therapy or mental health counseling program. A social services program will help you prepare to become a child and family, medical and public health or mental health social worker.

Matters like existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind and language are the focus of philosophy programs, which are a good choice for broadening your horizons or if you would like to teach philosophy at a college or university or are considering graduate school or law school.
