Edible Food Flags: What Country’s Flag Would You Eat?

Written by Sarah Ward @ 2:51 pm on July 20, 2010

During the Sydney International Food Festival in 2009, the participating countries’ flags were recreated using prominent foods from each nation.

Italy
Food Flag: Greece
Food Flag: Brazil
Food Flag: France
Food Flag: India
Food Flag: Japan
Food Flag: South Korea
Food Flag: Switzerland

If flags were edible, I would eat Italy’s. What country’s flag would you eat?

Regardless what country you hail from, becoming a chef will allow you to explore the culinary diversity of the world and create innovative new combinations.

  1. I’d eat Switzerland’s, bacon and cheese certainly wins over the other choices

  2. Thanks for your 2 cents, Michael! Bacon does sound pretty good right now…
