Is the Governator Right About Going Digital? You Decide.

The Governator recently launched an initiative to utilize for online learning materials in California schools. This is what he had to say:

“California is home to software giants, bioscience research pioneers and first-class university systems known around the world. But our students still learn from instructional materials in formats made possible by Gutenberg’s printing press.”

Schwarzenegger believes the educational system will be able to save money by going digital. He expects science and math books to be in digital form by next fall and wants to use the savings to hire more teachers and to reduce class size.

Online Education Enrollment Increasing in Recession

The idea that every hardworking man and woman can succeed in America is losing some steam in this brutal recession but the American spirit is as as true blue as ever.

Actually, it might be more appropriate to describe the American spirit as yellow. Lemon yellow. Historically, Americans are famous for turning lemons into lemonade.

Education Help for Single Mothers - Online Education

Education help for single mothers can come in the form of online education. A high percentage of single mothers find themselves in dire situations without an education. Some of the things that these super heroine find themselves doing are supporting their families, working a full time jobs, taking care of their sick children, and taking care of their homes. Single mothers come in all forms.

There are many reasons that women become single mothers. Decisions made as a teenager, marital problems, death of a spouse, and the list continues on. It’s easy for some of us to say it was a decision, but often times the decision was not a decision made by these mothers.

Excuses for Not Earning Your College Degree

I decided to write a quick post about some reasons that people decide not to continue their education by earning a degree. I wanted to list some of those reasons and approach each reason with a resolution to remove any excuse not to go to college. I know excuse is a hard word and often times the excuses are legitimate excuses and noble reasons for not going, but many people with these excuses have a desire to earn college degrees. I’ve broken it into two sections; “Why they don’t…” and “Why they should…”.
