Over the past few years, smartphones have made people more efficient and productive largely due to their mobile applications. One group of people that could benefit the most from smartphone applications are college students. There are ten applications that could benefit students the most.

The first smartphone app to download when going back to college is the Facebook application. This application will allow a student to network with new students and keep in touch with their old friends and family.

The second smartphone app to download when going back to college is the Take Me Home application. This application will give a student, who is unfamiliar with their new town, step by step instructions in how to get home.

The next smartphone app to download is Pizza! Pizza is an application that will help a college student find not only the closest pizza restaurant, but the cheapest and best rated as well.

The fourth smartphone app to download is Local Concerts. This application will give a student info as to when their favorite acts are coming to their campus.

The seventh app that a student should download is Birthday Notification. This app will allow a student to program the birthdays of all their new friends so they ensure they don’t forget and miss the ensuing party.

The next app to download prior to going back to college is Apartments. This app will allow a student to search for apartment listings and read reviews about the complex and landlord.

The ninth app that should be downloaded is iQuotation. This app will give a student thousands of quotations to help them stay motivated or put them in a better mood.

The tenth application that should be downloaded is NYTimes. This app will give a student access to the most current information of what is going on in the world and country.

On online education is an excellent way for students who live in rural areas or those with families and jobs to enjoy the possibility of going back to school. Furthering career and life options is a choice that no graduate regrets. Online education does involve more than simply using the internet for classes today.
