People who are good communicators, critical thinkers, decision makers, and time managers may be perfect candidates for becoming brokerage clerks.

Brokerage clerks work closely with the processes of selling and purchasing securities. People with this job are sometimes known as sales assistants, client service associates, account administrators, client administrators, and operations clerks.

These professionals work with customers and coworkers to resolve problems with accounts, keep transaction records using computers and ledgers, transfer documents between departments, businesses, and customers, complete forms, and monitor stock prices and analyze how they affect loans.

Brokerage clerks usually have an associate’s degree which helped them gain an understanding of customer service, economics, math, accounting, and clerical skills.

Regardless of their background or experience, students can embark on an important career as a brokerage clerk today in many locations.
